Prior to the NBA Draft the Pelicans decided to deal Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James is getting his way once again. Everyone is asking who won this trade, but does there have to be a winner? The Pelicans received return on Davis who would have walked after the 2019-2020. The Lakers received a player that can be dominate in the paint. Both teams got what they wanted.
The United States Women’s National Team had little problem defeating Chile in the second round of the World Cup. The win secured a berth in the Round of 16. Coach Ellis made seven starting lineup changes prior to game two. Play was sloppy at times as the players had to adjust playing with each other, but the result was the same.
