Bills at Texans; Titans at Patriots; Vikings at Saints; Seahawks at Eagles

The headline says it all, NFL Wildcard Weekend is here. The Youngster and Old Man take a look at these games and the four teams sitting at home waiting for an opponent. The Ravens are the favorite to come out of the AFC but the Chiefs slid into the bye with some help from “Fitzmagic” and the Dolphins, in week 17. Seattle was within inches of having the #1 seed, in the NFC. However, the 49ers escaped and claimed the #1 spot. The Green Bay Packers had a tough week 17 game at Detroit but grey beard Mason Crosby bailed them out with a game winning field goal to secure the #2 spot.

So the question is, will there be any upsets this weekend? The Bills have a good season but can they travel to Houston and take down Watson and company? Tennessee needed 17 weeks to clinch a playoff spot but might have the tools to take down the Patriots. However, can you really bet against Belichick in Foxboro, in the playoffs? Some consider the Saints the best team in the NFC so the Vikings have their hands full traveling to New Orleans. The Eagles are hosting a game by default as the NFC East Champion so they host the Seahawks, who could have been the #1 seed. Both teams have been hit with the injury bug. Carson Wentz has a cast of unfamiliar faces at wide receiver and Zach Ertz has not been cleared for contact. Russell Wilson is handing off to a former teammate Marshawn Lynch, but he has been out of the league.
